REFLECTION

Another new year has come and the 3rd grading is already about to end.
What did I do this quarter? Well, I have attended different contests, trainings and seminar workshops. Honestly, I was not able to cope up easily with the lessons I've not attended. But because of the help of my classmates, at least I understood those lessons.
I would not forget my three day stay in Dagupan, Pangasinan together with the other delegations from Ilocos Sur National High School during the Regional Schools Press Conference. I may not have brought home the bacon, I'm so proud that I was able to join such contests like this.
The Regional Leadership Training which was aslso held in Dagupn is one of the significant events that happened during this grading period.
I'm hoping that I'll again enjoy the next and last grading of my high school life.

NEW YEAR, NEW ME

It's now 2012! Do you have already your plans for yourself? Or are you going to be what you used to be since last year?

I always think it's funny but no one knows if it's true, 2012 is the end of the world?! woaw! Well, it is in you if you are going to believe or not. On the other hand, I seriously believe that it's not yet the end for me, for you, and for all of us to make changes within ourselves. The time keeps going for you to make a new you.
Just remember, you are here on Earth because you have a reason. You have your own mission to accomplish and to make that mission possible, you should make the best out of your life. You have to change what is needed to be changed to make a better you.

THE ESSENCE OF CHRISTMAS

Christmas,  traditionally celebrated every 25th of December  is always a much awaited event for us Filipinos.  This special event genuinely strengthens every Filipino's faith in God as it marks the birth of our saviour, Jesus Christ.
The essence of Christmas relies not only on the christmas tree, christmas lights, and other decorations. It's presence lingers on how we celebrate it whole heartedly by drawing peace, love, sharing and giving to others.

Keeping In Mind Our Mother Tongue

We live in a world where there is always an every thing's purpose. The things we see around were created not only to fill the empty spaces, rather, they were there to play the roles they were created for.
Having different languages and dialects is one thing that's for sure leaves a question mark to most of us. Why did it not happen to have only one language on earth? Well, as being said, everything has its own purpose.
Iloco as we call our own dialect in the Ilocos Region. We communicate everyday using this dialect. Because of this, we were able to survive. We were able to get what we wanted.
Let us remember, we were born Ilocanos, we lived through Iloco, we survived through it so we must always keep in mind our mother tongue.
