MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Are you not yet exhausted of the downbeat attitudes in you? Well, before reaching the point of no return, you must now make a difference. Rustle up a new you.

            NEGATIVISM. Scrap from your routines this attitude. You should always look forward for a positive one.  Thinking and expecting of undesirable things will not do any good to you, it will just put you down, instead.
            LAZINESS. Do nothing and you will also get not a single thing. It’s just natural for us to be lazy sometimes, but not all the time. Just mull over, if you take every work with a smile, you will never be tired unless you are not wholehearted in doing it.
            IRRESPONSIBILITY. We always have responsibilities and obligations as human beings. These are just parts of life. We should accept our responsibilities committedly as we accept our rights.
            FRAGILITY. Predicaments always come out of the blue. Strength and courage are needed for us to unravel these obstructions in life. Easily giving up is not a solution to every problem. It will just worsen it.
            How could you survive in this chaotic world if you deviate from making it to the right track? Only you, yourself could choose your providence. If you want to reach the peak, as early as now, do your best and change what is needed to  be changed. Now, what difference can you make?

EQUAL RIGHTS, EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES

              We were all once born in this world and given a chance to write our own lives.  We all started from nothing. We fired up from grabbing opportunities, justly because we have our rights.
            Each of us entered this realm of billions of people. We have different situations in life but we have the same and equal rights.
            Apparently, during these days, people are classified into clusters according to the status in life which should not be. This just shows unequal treatment and impressions between people. We human beings are intellectual in our own ways but we should bear in mind that status in life is not a barrier in procuring our rights. Every opportunity that turns up is not only for those who are in the pedestal; it is intended for all of us.
            A saving grace is imparted within us. So we must have the courage to fight for our own rights for us to take every opportunity a reality.

CLIMATE CHANGE TAKES PLACE

            Are you aware of what’s happening these days? Teething problems like economic crisis, crimes, global conflicts and battles, and of course, the most intricate, climate change badly strike the globe.
            Obstructions and glitches to human life had been brought by the climate change or the so-called global warming. Obviously, global warming is the measurable increases in the average temperature of Earth’s atmosphere, oceans, and landmasses. Scientists believe Earth is currently facing a period of rapid warming brought on by rising levels of heat-trapping gases, known as greenhouse gases, in the atmosphere.
              Scientists project that the polar regions will heat up more than other areas of the planet, and glaciers and sea ice will shrink as a result. Regions that now experience light winter snows may receive no snow at all. In temperate mountains, snowlines will be higher and snow packs will melt earlier. Growing seasons will be longer in some areas. Winter and nighttime temperatures will tend to rise more than summer and daytime temperatures. Many of these trends are already beginning to be observed. Arctic temperatures, for example, have increased almost twice as much as the global average over the past 100 years.
            Due to the melting of glaciers, there is a rising sea levels which complicates lives in coastal regions.
            Plants and animals will find it difficult to escape from or adjust to the effects of global warming. Scientists have already observed shifts in the lifecycles of many plants and animals , most especially that species extinction already occurs.
            In a warmer world, scientists predict that more people will get sick or die from heat stress, due not only to hotter days but more importantly to warmer nights.
            We should now respond to the challenge of controlling and preventing global warming. The challenge today is managing the impacts that cannot be avoided while taking steps to prevent more severe impacts in the future.

REFLECTION

          It's very hard to say, but my fourth year high school life is already getting shorter and shorter. The second quarter has again ended. There are only two remaining qurters for me, for my fellow classmates to share moments with each other. But before continuing to the next part, let us again go back to the contents of this quarter.
        I’m very happy to say that within the previous months, I’ve earned five certificates. These were all because of the contests I’ve joined. I was the third placer in the Essay Writing Contest during the Buwan ng Wika Celebration in school, First placer in the Essay writing contest conducted by the Supreme Student Government regarding the Teacher’s Day Celebration, First placer again in the Essay writing Contest  conducted by the Drug Watch Club, third placer in the English quiz Bee in connection with the English Olympics Month Celebration, second placer in the Science quiz Bee by year level and lastly, secong placer in the” Pagsulat ng Sanaysay “ , division Level held at Vigan Central School in connection again to the Teacher;’s Day Celebration. I with Mio and Andreev also competed at the Provincial Capitol last October 5, a Statistical Quiz but sadly, we did not win. Well, it was just alright because we did not really have our review.
        Second Grading Period was also a busy period. But even though we were all busy most of the time, we still had made memories which are worth remembering.

PROMOTING DIGITAL LITERACY THROUGH ENGLISH PROFICIENCY

          Like a force of nature, the digital age cannot be denied or stopped. It has four very poerful qualities that will result in its ultimate triumph. Decentralizing, globalizinjhg, harmonizing and empowering.
          From genneration to generation, there is a proliferation of various  breeds of digital effects . During the olden times, people were still using simple everyday materials and tools yet a very few of these are still in effect. Because of curiousity of man, new stuffs were further created which led to the concept of developing these stuffs to initiate a digital world.
           At present, it is factual that the mainstream reason why man is living better compared to the previous decades is that most of the things we are now using are digital  . These digital things have been contributing a lot to the global civilizqaqtion.
            It is a grim commentary upon the present state of the world that though digital things arer th most prominent, the world may still be divided into "haves and have nots" If there are people who extremely know a lot in terms of digitalization,m there are alao thoase who are not literate when it comes to it. If man could not manipulate those digitally mafde things, how he obtain the advantage of it?
          English proficiency is very essebntial nowadays. It concerns in almost all of ou everyday activities. English proficiency is one of the most imnportant factors in order to be more knowledgeable in terms of digitalization.
